Bomberman had a perfect blend of strategy and chaos. Trapping enemies with bombs and dodging explosions was an absolute rush. Each stage had a new layout, and you had to think on your feet. The multiplayer mode was a big draw, too – it was always a blast playing with friends. On my Steam Deck, the game is even better with smooth controls and stunning visuals.
3. Adventure Island
Adventure Island is one of those games that never gets old. Running through jungles, collecting fruit, and avoiding enemies was simple but super addictive. The action never slowed down, and I couldn’t stop playing. The music still sticks in my head! Playing it again on the Steam Deck OLED brings back those awesome memories with some fresh new excitement.
4. The Legend of Kage
The fast-paced action and ninja gameplay in The Legend of Kage were incredible. I loved leaping through the air, throwing shurikens, and facing off against tough bosses. The game really tested my skills, making every victory that much sweeter. Even now, on the Steam Deck, the thrill of battling through the levels remains just as exciting.
